When a Critical Incident occurs, here is how you contact us
To initiate a “Call-out” for service with the SWOCISM Team
A call-out or request for service can be for one of four types; Defusing, Debriefing, One-On-One, or to provide training or a presentation.
Be sure to follow any specific departmental procedures in doing so
To request the team for all of the above services except a training or presentation, please call the Hamilton County Communications Center at (513) 825-2260. When calling, be sure you request the Southwest Ohio CISM Team.
Hamilton County Communications will then take your name and phone number to have an on-duty Coordinator from the team contact you.
From there, the on-duty Coordinator will work with you in setting up a plan on how the team can best assist you.
Please Note
It is the policy and practice of the Southwest Ohio Critical Incident Stress Management Team to honor and maintain confidentiality of all that is spoken during any intervention in which they are involved in. The state of Ohio offers a provision regarding testimonial immunity which will protect the confidentiality of what is discussed.
